On this note, trying to get back on the ball after 2020 kicked us all down hard. We should be rolling out new character profiles like this semi-regularly now. (For the near future, 1-2 a month, actually) and I've got some mini-episodes in the works to try to help the drought before these bigger game releases we're working on.

So let kick things off with a game recommendation post!
Sure, Halloween is more of a “kids” holiday, but plenty of us grownups are accustomed to dressing up and going to Halloween parties, and as such, Halloween falling on a Saturday this year would have been awesome if not for these pesky Covid-19 spikes.
So, I’ve taken the liberty of rounding up some of the more interesting 18+ horror games you can play (or re-play!) to help you still have a Happy Halloween at home!

The obligatory zombie-survival game on the list, but with a plant-themed twist. The game is a bit linear, but has several secrets to uncover in each level so it’ll actually probably take you a few playthroughs to discover everything.

Succubus Prison is an 2d exploration puzzle “escape room” style game in which the protagonist is trapped in a house with three murderous succubi and must figure out how to escape. After a lot of trial-and-error and getting drained to death many, many times via animated sex sceenes, you might eventually piece together the mystery of the house and finally figure out how to escape.

Yami’s Mysterious Mansion is a first person exploration/puzzle game where you make your way through mostly linear puzzle stages while developing a relationship with the ghost girl that lives there. The erotic scenes are in 3d and fully animated. The game lacks an English patch, but the puzzles are mainly environmental so it’s playable to those with minimal Japanese skills.

SHIRFT is a 2d turn-based RPG where the protagonist Kazuya wakes up from a coma and finds himself trapped in a post-apocalyptic underground shelter swarming with demons. It’s often compared to Undertale; in that it also has a Mercy/Genocide Route and a few similar themes. There is a mostly complete fan-translation patch available, allowing you to play through the complete story on the normal/neutral route. (Post Game content, and Genocide/True Mercy exclusive content are currently playable but machine translated) The creator is even working on one more bonus EX chapter for the game, so I’ll probably go over this one in more detail later once both that and the translation patch are 100% complete.

SiNiSistar is a more straightforward action game, where you play as a battle-nun taking on some seriously grotesque monsters; made all the more so with an extremely well done pixel art style.

We’ve teamed up with 15 other devs to provide a pay-what-you-want bundle of (vaguely) Halloween themed games that contain monsters, horror elements, autumn themes or cosplays/costumes.
Most of the free games (including ours) are also available for free individually, but part of the point of the bundle (even at the free tier) is to help boost visibility for each other and give you a second chance to find some cool new games that might have slipped your notice before.

Hello everyone!
To help ease out the wait and the content drought between game releases in the Little Black Bestiary Series, I'm planning to start releasing some short stories about our characters. Gunning for one a month right now.
Here's two to start things off!
Oh, and almost forgot, both stories are VERY NSFW, so you've been warned.
One features Margarita, a sweet, perky and very short hummingbird harpy, Written by Sandcastles Luffington and available to read both at HentaiFoundry and our own website.
And the second is about Talesin, an incubus that works at a host club, by ElizzyViolet. This one is MxM, so be aware of that if you're not into that kind of thing. This one is at HentaiFoundry, Literotica, and our website.

The store page for our first Steam game just went live!
Pretty hyped to see this since it feels a bit more like I'm a "real" game dev now!
Basically, we've decided to spin off the minigame from the last Little Black Bestiary episode into a full game of it's own, with multiplayer, a full story mode and all that kinda stuff. And for anyone wondering, it'll be safe for work aside from potentially the same amount of fan-service you'd see in any fighting game out there.
We're launching it as Early Access becasue the initial release will only have VS mode and *maybe* arcade mode if we can finish the final boss by then. Story mode will come later along with many more characters, special moves and other cool stuff.
And for those who are only here for the lewd stuff, don't worry still working on the next Little Black Bestiary episode and have some more stuff on the way!

Patrons can now vote for which upcoming characters they want to see the most! We'll use the results to prioritize what we work on as we prepare to release the rest of season 1's episodes next year. We're currently expecting to complete 3 episodes next year. (And one more this year, but that's already decided)

"A Playful Proposition" has been updated to V. 1.5!
This update should help address some of the performance and compatibility issues the game has on certain systems. And if it doesn't it also includes some new features to work around it:
Minigame Text Mode!
Allows you to skip the minigame, replacing it with text choices, allowing you to play this game as a straightforward visual novel. Playing the minigame is still recommended, but if you have performance issues, don't like action games, or just want to get to the lewd bits faster, try text mode!
Animated Scene Toggle:
The most likely culprit for people having the game crash when winning was loading the animated scene for winning. There is now the option to turn it on or off in the config menu. It is OFF by default for the HTML5 build now. You can turn it back on if you want to try viewing it.
On top of those features, there have been sever bugfixes, QOL improvements and script tweaks. Enjoy!

Sorry, haven't been too active on Newgrounds the past several months.
Been quietly working on new projects and was kinda embarrassed it took so damn long, but hey, I have new content and feel better about figuratively showing my face again, so hi!
